On the gentle slopes of the Pomato hill, a suggestive place at the foot of the Monti Lucretili Nature Reserve, the 55 hectares of the farm complex develop. We are in the heart of the Sabina, a territory crossed by the ancient Via Salaria and embraced by natural elements: the Tiber River to the south-west, the Nera River to the north-west, the Apennines to the north-east, the Aniene River and Lake Turano to the south-east. The Sabine landscape, guardian of castles, villages and monasteries, is characterized by centuries-old olive groves, lush valleys and wooded mountains. The green and wild center of Italy houses the oil mill, the stables, the butcher’s rooms, the staff residences, the manor house, the chapel, the orchard, the vineyard, the vegetable gardens, the olive groves and (even!) a complex of caves. In this place of choice, the production of oil has ancient roots and benefits from the climate, the purity of the air and the fertility of the soil: conditions necessary to obtain an excellent quality.
